Brandon and I have something very dear to us- we like to call it Adventure Pack. It also goes by the name of Turbo Pack 2000. It has old buttons that we find at various junk shops and a picture of some weird clown man. Turbo Pack comes with us on our adventures. The contents of Turbo Pack include; a slingshot (for obvious self-defense purposes), duct tape (I would never be lost in the wilderness without duct tape), a frisbee (if we are to get lost- at least we can have fun instead of being terrified), firestarter and waterproof matches (we love to have fires), a hatchet (for self-defense/ getting firewood), a bear horn (to scare away dangerous bunny rabbits), bear spray (for creeps hiding behind trees) and some food and water.
We acquired Adventure Pack in the back (and dusty) corner of an old camping supplies store. For an unknown reason the storeowner gave us two free wagon wheels with it. My guess is that the Turbo Pack brings luck.
So far Turbo Pack has been with us on hikes around the lower mainland, as well as in the rocky mountains. Our goal is to take Turbo Pack on as many adventures as we can for as long as possible.
As the weather is now getting wetter and colder we are a little limited to certain hikes and trails. We do not have a ton of experience on trails and off trails but we plan to visit both avenues. Stay tuned for the details of our adventures through the Autumn months, as well as our plan to get through my fear of heights.
